Right now, some of the world’s poorest and most marginalised people don’t have clean water to drink, decent toilets to use or good hygiene to protect them. Without these basics, overcoming poverty is just a dream. 785 million people in the world – one in ten – do not have clean water close to home. Drinking dirty water is one of the most common causes of death in the developing world despite being one of the most preventable. Safe, drinking water helps some of the most desperate families to break free from poverty and illness.

We recognize access to water as a human right and giving water the best of charities. We will fund water projects undertaken by organizations with years of experience to build sustainable solutions in each place where there is lack of clean water,  whether it is a well or a water filtration system, or a system of harvesting rain water. We will benefit whole communities because access to clean water means healthier lives, improved livelihood and ultimately a route out of poverty.
